I'm Padre Karl Benson. I'm married accompanied and have two adult children and three granddaughters.

I served in the RA (gunner/OP) and then REME (Electronic Control Equipments Technician).
I then worked in defence research on varied projects, including Ballistic Missile Defence, Counter-Terrorism, Air Traffic Control, Medical algorithms, and Automatic Military Target Detection Algorithms.
I moved into church leadership where I was assistant pastor of one church and senior pastor of two.
I trained as a Spiritual Director and retreat giver at St Beuno's.
Finally I moved into chaplaincy, firstly with the NHS, and now with RAChD.
